As the Business & Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll lead business requirements gathering, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new and existing products.Develop and maintain detailed technical and business requirement documents.Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software products/ServiceNow workflows.Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects, track issues, and ensure their resolution.Validate that solutions meet business needs and adhere to quality standards.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, test plans, test cases, and defect reports.Develop metrics and reports to track quality assurance metrics and project progress.Present findings and updates to stakeholders, including executives and technical teams.Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives.Participate in solution design and architecture discussions to provide input from a business and quality perspective.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth handover of requirements and test cases.Identify opportunities to improve processes and methodologies related to business analysis and quality assurance.Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in business analysis and QA.What You’ll Need:
15+ years of testing experience, setting requirements, test protocols, and analyzing results; has participated in projects of similar scope and complexity.2+ years leading testing efforts.Key Skills : Business Requirements Gathering, QA, Business Intelligence Tools.Prior experience and expertise with Testing Center of Excellence strategy and transformation strongly preferred.Expertise in testing Web, SOA/WS, DW/ETL, JAVA backend applications.Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall software development models.Expertise in testing methodologies and processes.Expertise in project management tools; HP ALM, Rally, JIRA.Experience in applying test automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
