Preference will be given to candidates with experience in private equity-led M&A transactions.Duties:Lead M&A transactions from initiation to completion.Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, including merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and ancillary agreements.Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to M&A transactions.Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in transactions.Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate governance matters.Assist with post-closing integration and compliance matters.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on M&A matters.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.5-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.Experience with private equity-led M&A transactions preferred.Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Admitted to the Bar in the state of North Carolina, or eligible for admission.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admitted to the Bar in the state of North Carolina, or eligible for admission.Skills:Ability to lead M&A transactions independently.Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.Knowledge of corporate governance principles.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
