You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for more immediate process improvements that can enhance our testing efficiency and effectiveness.Your role will entail mentoring and coaching of our quality assurance engineers, and collaboration across the practice. You will work closely with the development, product, and operations teams to ensure that our quality objectives are aligned with our business goals and customer expectations.What you’ll be doingLead the effort of developing and implementing IntelliScript’s strategic quality and automation roadmapMentor and support teams implementing test automation, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testingManage one or more automation engineers while facilitating collaboration across our quality assurance engineers embedded in scrum teams.Drive our development teams towards best practices and increased automationManage the search, evaluation and PoC of third-party tools that will support the overall test strategyWork with the development teams to create standardized documentation and test management proceduresBe an advocate and expert for quality and testing across the entire software development life cycleWhat we need8+ years of experience in automated and manual testing, with strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.Prior experience with leading by influence and mentoring team membersExperience building and testing in AWSExperience elevating the quality practices of software development teamsExperience with full software development lifecycle practicesExcellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skillsExcellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated team player who can run with a project and is willing to pitch in as neededWhat you bring to the tableProactive and positive approach to solving problemsFacilitate collaboration among team membersDemonstrated “let’s find a way to do it” attitudeLoves to learn and takes every opportunity to develop knowledge and skillsAble to move projects along in a timeframeSelf-driven to assess a need, research the situation, then present a resolutionMeticulous attention to detailHighly skilled at prioritizing multiple concurrent tasksAbility to understand and communicate with audiences that are both technically and not technically mindedLocationThis position will be based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI; however, candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the U.S. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI for quarterly PI Planning meetings.The salary range for this position is $96,000 - $194,000 depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, and certifications.At Milliman, we focus on creating an environment that recognizes – and meets – the personal and professional needs of the individual and their family.
