The tax function is responsible for tax planning, compliance, and financial statement reporting. This position will be exposed to all areas of taxation and will have the opportunity to master all of them. RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare the quarterly income tax provision under ASC 740-270/FIN 18 and annual income tax provision under ASC 740Prepare/review U.S. Federal consolidated return, partnership returns, and state income and franchise tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated paymentsPrepare/review income tax returns for Puerto RicoReconcile tax balance sheet accountsSupport tax and financial statement auditsAssist in the research, analysis, and documentation of various tax mattersCoordinate with IT and Billing to determine and set up tax items, tax codes, and tax rules in various accounting systemsAssist with ITC compliance and requests from the IRSAssist with other tax department tasks, as necessaryMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field required3+ years of public accounting experience requiredStrong experience and proficiency in ExcelExperience with ONESOURCE Tax ProvisionCPA preferred (or actively pursuing)Master’s degree in accounting or taxation preferredProven use of analytical skills and ability to analyze and interpret large quantities of dataHighly positive energy, self-motivated, and can-do personalitySalesforce or other enterprise accounting software experience preferredVery strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while working under pressure and time constraintsExcellent analytical and statistical skillsKnowledge and capability to use the tools, processes, and best practices for predicting business trends and providing forecasts that drive business decisions and business planningEagerness to take ownership of the functionTeam player that behaves ethically, with the highest degree of integrity always
