The role is to manage a team tasked with developing and implementing processes that create cosmetic and protective finishes for Apple’s world class enclosure designs.DescriptionLead and grow a talented team of Subject Matter Experts that have rich experience in optical PVD coating and ink printing industry.Build credibility as world-class operations leader with technical acumen and working relationship/trust with senior executives, cross-functional manufacturing peers, engineering teams and factory partners.Manage and receives assignments, determines how to best use resources to meet schedules and goals, provide time effective feedback to subordinates, leaders and cross functional team members.Strong focus on training, functional expertise development, and overall leadership.Minimum Qualifications5+ years of a lead role, proven technical leader with experience in coating (PVD and Inks) industry.BS/MS/PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or equivalent. MBA/EMBA would be a plus.Verbal and written English proficiency.Preferred Qualifications
Deep logical thinking ability, both analytic and strategic.Experience leading process development in a high-volume dynamic manufacturing environment.Experience in the selection, set-up, and validation of manufacturing equipment and processes.Ability to program-manage across multiple projects, vendors and resources.Ability to present technical analysis of manufacturing capability to diverse cross-functional teams.Experience in massive data analysis, coding and machine learning would be a plus.
