What you can expect to be doing:Making projects happen: Coordinating and managing survey research projects on time and on budget, working closely with our colleagues in other departments.Drafting questionnaires, creating necessary documentation of project requirements (e.g. questionnaire programming instructions and timelines), and analyzing and reporting on survey data in a way that is actionable and insightful for our clients.Elevating our clients' understanding of key issues and establishing them as a thought leader on their key topics/issues.Working with media clients to help inform on breaking news and important events in history.Help the business grow: Engage with clients to suggest solutions to their problems and collaborate with colleagues to produce winning proposals.Set the stage for your promotion: Bring creativity and insights to clients in identifying and solving business challenges, generate new and repeat business, and manage and develop colleagues doing those tasks.This might be the job for you if you have:4-6 years of experience in the market research sector.Love presenting research to clients.Intellectually curious with a growth mindset; willing to try new things and continuously evolve.Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of and experience with standard quantitative data collection techniques. Knowledge of qualitative methodologies is a plus.Must be able to write questionnaires, sample designs, and analytical plans and create custom story-telling style analytical reports in PowerPoint.Ability to follow general instructions and work in a team, both independently and collaboratively.Self-motivated, analytical individual with an attention to detail who thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.Initiative-taker with the ability to successfully collaborate with a virtual team.Effective communication, writing, and analytical skills.Good client management and people skills.Must be accountable to internal and external stakeholders and deliver on your commitments in a challenging environment.A degree in the social sciences, political science, sociology, psychology public policy, marketing, or a quantitatively oriented field, preferably at the master's level.Experience in working with data in Excel and/or Access.Knowledge of quantitative analysis packages, especially SPSS and/or SAS is a plus.Due to contractual obligations, candidates must be US citizens.If you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage all who feel they might be a fit for the opportunity to apply.
