team. Our group is a leader in technology-driven accounting systems and our team members are comfortable using tomorrow’s technologies today. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounting function for select clients, including mentoring staff.Manage the entire accounting and closing process for a diverse group of clients, including:Supervise and ensure that accounting transactions are properly classified in a timely mannerOversee processing of payroll in a timely mannerEnsure that monthly bank reconciliations are completed accuratelyPrepare payroll and sales/use tax filingsRefine (and document) processes in conjunction with evolving AI-enhanced processesMaintain the chart of accounts and other cloud-based accounting systemsMaintain a system of controls over accounting transactionsIssue timely and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsDevelop, prepare, and produce financial and operating metricsManage the production of the annual budget and forecastsCreate a narrative that makes numbers speak in a language that everyone can understand and appreciateSkills You’ll Bring:At least 10 years of experience, including leading or being a senior member of a CAS practicePrevious experience supervising an accounting team and managing multiple clientsKnowledge of leading-edge CAS technologies and appsKnowledge of local, state, and federal government reporting requirementsPrevious experience representing the firm with clients, vendors, and business partnersDeep knowledge of the latest tools utilized in a CAS practice including client collaboration, task management and closing softwareHow You’ll Stand Out:Advanced QuickBooks Online skillsProficient with MS Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook & BillKnowledge of other cloud-based software applications (Keeper, Reach Reporting, Uncat), and latest AI accounting tools is a plus.Integrating meaningful advisory services into our engagementsCapable of being a visionary and in the weeds at the same timeWe embrace authenticity.
