Associate Investor Relations Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW
Alarm.com, a rapidly growing entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a Analyst, Investor Relations to support the company’s investor engagement and communications program. This person will work at the intersection of finance and communications and play a key role in developing and executing effective communications about Alarm.com’s innovative technology and global market presence, and the emergence of new markets for AI-powered connected property solutions. The high-profile role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic and highly productive team, and advancement in the fields of investor relations and corporate communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hands-on execution of investor relations, including managing and maintaining key contacts
Assist with setting up investor conference calls, analyst call-backs, and meetings.
Update Wall Street consensus tables based on Analyst models and compare to company guidance/forecasts
Support the creation of quarterly earnings releases, conference calls, and presentation content
Prepare senior management for earnings calls and Q&A
Prepare quarterly earnings briefing book for senior management
Maintain and update IR database and track investor engagements and topics of interest
Assist with logistics for investor conferences and schedules
Travel to investment conferences
Position involves some administrative duties as well
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
B.A./B.S. Required
Ideal candidate has one to two years of experience in communications, investor relations, or corporate finance
Ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills (including writing for business audiences) and a deep interest in communications and finance
Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills, and ability to collaborate and self-start.
Investor Relations or corporate finance experience is helpful
