Reporting to the Senior Director, US Patient Services Operations, we seek an experienced, patient-focused individual to serve as the strategic liaison with our Case Management, Patient Education Liaison and Operations teams. This individual will work with a small group of leaders and in close coordination with Field Sales, Field Reimbursement, Brand Marketing, Patient Services Marketing, Patient Services Operations, Patient Advocacy, Health System Directors (HSD), National Account Leads (NAL) and Channel Operations Teams to support Alnylam's patient-focused vision of harnessing a revolution in biology for human health.The Director of Business Operations will be responsible for ensuring all case management and PEL programs are operating as designed and periodically checking to ensure the programs are making the intended impact for patients and HCPs and identifying areas of opportunity. This includes reviewing internal data, KPI metrics and dashboards to determine if programs are meeting specific criteria, collaborating with Regional Managers, PEL leads and Operations to discuss findings, establish next steps and plan roll out of program changes.The successful candidate must be enthusiastic about science and deeply motivated by the quest of delivering value to patients and their families with the long-term success of the company in mind. He/she will work in close collaboration with the Director of Case Management and Director of Patient Education for the TTR Business Unit and Director of Operations to maintain an appropriate level of cohesion across these critical Patient Services functions, while focusing exclusively on the TTR business.This individual must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to support the building of tactical plans. Paramount to this role, this individual is accountable for ensuring all business processes are documented and being adhered to with the goal of enabling continuity of care throughout the patient treatment journey.Key Responsibilities

Deep understanding of how all case management and PEL programs are designed and operationalized.Review and analyze data and KPI metrics to monitor program success or challenges; communicate findings. Work closely with Director of Case Management, Regional Managers, Director of PELs - TTR and Rare, and Director of Operations to make changes and develop implementation plans.Support daily operations of all case management and PEL programs and troubleshoot accordingly.Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Business.5+ years Pharmaceutical/biotech experience required.3+ years prior experience working in Case Management required, preferably as a manager of people.Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in leading and coaching teams.A proven record of successful project delivery and positive performance results.Exceptional people skills, professional communications, problem-solving, compassion and the ability to navigate difficult conversations.Ability to lead and work well with cross-functional groups and in a matrix organization.Models and fosters team effectiveness by sharing knowledge, experience, and information across departmental boundaries.Quality and metrics driven approach with diligence and accuracy.Proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change and react constructively in a high-energy and fast-paced environment.Desire to innovate and work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.Initiative-taker who is highly enthusiastic about rare disease and Alnylam's core values:Commitment to People, Innovation, Discovery, Purposeful Urgency, Open Culture, and Passion for Excellence.Ability to travel to home office a minimum of 2 days/week as needed and during pertinent meetings.About Alnylam
