Role Purpose
Deploying enough carbon-free energy to meet our global emissions targets requires trillions of dollars of investment, and a faster pace of project development. By bringing together the world’s largest network of clean energy developers, buyers, advisors and financiers, and delivering the platform they need to move faster, LevelTen Energy is advancing our shared goal: accelerating the energy transition.
As a Marketing Manager, you’ll collaborate with others across the organization to support new products and strategic initiatives driven by our Innovations team. The role requires the ability to execute marketing campaigns that build awareness and generate demand for LevelTen’s new solutions. Although prior experience in the clean energy industry isn’t required, it would certainly give you a head start.
The position is based in our Seattle office, with the option to work from home up to 2 days a week. Only candidates with 2+ years of experience in the clean energy industry will be considered for remote work. Otherwise, we are only considering candidates in the Seattle area. You’ll join a smart team that is highly passionate about what we do — and likes to have fun along the way!
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the creation and execution of go-to-market plans for new clean energy products
Collaborate with business leads, the Director of Innovation Marketing, and other stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new clean energy products. This is inclusive of: conducting market research, interviewing customers, and partnering with internal subject matter experts to formulate an informed perspective on total addressable market, customer personas, product positioning, etc.
Gather feedback from Sales, Customer Success, and direct customers to continually refine marketing plans and campaigns, and identify new opportunities to improve
product roadmaps in partnership with the Product team.
Contribute to full-funnel marketing campaigns, inclusive of:
Building product awareness:
Partner with Communications team to build awareness of new clean energy products through strategic media relations, events, and social media.
Collaborate with external partners to drive conversations about energy industry innovations
Generating demand:
Collaborate with teammates that specialize in content marketing, demand generation and communications to launch campaigns that bring in new customers
Draft copy for marketing campaigns, including email and digital advertising
Enabling Sales:
Train the sales team on new product features and value props
Create content for the customer engagement team to use in conversations, including slide decks, one-sheets and PDFs to help advance prospects through the sales funnel
Develop product messaging and Q&A
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
At least three years of marketing experience at a B2B company, with experience in renewable energy highly desired (especially next-generation strategies like 24/7 CFE and emissionality).
Knowledge of product marketing and account-based marketing best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to simplify complex technical information and communicate value propositions.
Experience developing high quality, customer-facing content for sales conversations.
Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams.
A bias for action and a demonstrated ability to work successfully within a matrixed organization.
Strong project management abilities.
Insatiable curiosity and desire to learn about emerging technologies and markets, including self-directed learning.
A positive get-stuff-done attitude.
Bonus points if you also have:
Experience using Salesforce and Outreach
Working proficiency in Spanish, German, Italian or French
A great sense of humor

This position is based out of our office in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA (hybrid work schedule).
The estimated compensation for this position is $120,000 - $135,000 per year. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
