As you build your knowledge and experience, you'll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.Skills and attributes for successLeading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagementsCompleting audit processes and documenting higher-risk areasEngaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactionsConstantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processesUnderstanding our clients' unique ambitions and needsTo qualify for the role you must haveA bachelor's degree in an accounting, finance or business discipline, supported by approximately 2 years' work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firmUS CPA licensure in your work stateExperience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits in the Banking & Capital Markets sectorWorking knowledge of US GAAPExcellent communication and negotiation skillsThe flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentThe ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessaryAccess to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sitesIdeally, you'll also haveKnowledge of current market issues in the Banking & Capital Markets sector in the USWhat we look forWe're interested in leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $78,400 to $129,300. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
