Position Description – Product Marketing Manager, Transport
Are you ready to join the Product Marketing Team at AMCS as the Product Marketing Manager for the Transport business unit? This role offers a unique opportunity for a product marketing leader to join a high-octane team to drive and build our company’s evolution in a dynamic environment. This role will elevate AMCS priorities to both internal and external stakeholders, amplify the impact of our mission-driven work around Performance Sustainability, produce thought leadership to raise awareness of AMCS and our capabilities and set the global strategic direction to promote and articulate the value proposition of our Transport solutions and the AMCS solutions.
This role will collaborate closely with other Senior Leaders across the organization to develop an integrated Go-to-Marketing strategy that spans both product, marketing and sales. This unified approach will be utilized across all regional marketing channels to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.
This position is ideal for a person who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, and can inspire their team to meet deadlines that support our global go-to-market strategy.
Essential Duties
Be the product Go-To-Market expert for stakeholders across product, marketing, and sales for the Transport BU.
Drive marketing messaging and positioning across all motions and deliver an effective GTM plan, driving execution in market – through direct market/customer engagement and associated activities.
Develop succinct and effective sales materials (pitch decks, demos, training, FAQs, etc.), making it easy for internal and external stakeholders to understand our complete portfolio of solutions.
Define and build repeatable and high-quality content including sales plays, competitive programs while aligning to supporting marketing campaigns.
Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to learn our industry and products.
Deliver full market positioning and messaging for each solution including value proposition, competitive differentiators, ideal client profiles and priority target sectors/verticals.
Work closely with sales enablement to “arm” the sales team with appropriate messaging and talk tracks in all areas.
Support market research approach, methodology and integration of findings into product marketing content, driving go-to-market approach.
Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and be aligned with the sales and customer success team to inform the strategic positioning of the AMCS Platform to AMCS sales, customers, partners, and market influencers globally.
Craft compelling high-quality messages and marketing collateral across both online and offline marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns, webinars, seminars, tradeshows).
Develop compelling customer-facing presentations that articulate the most compelling differentiated customer messaging.
Work with Product Management to ensure we fully capitalize product launch/new releases.
Focus on messaging new brand and Performance Sustainability messaging throughout the promotion of the Transport solution suite.
Adopt a continuous improvement mindset partnering with the marketing team to evolve as a best-in-class organization.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of Transport Logistics, Sustainability and/or Environmental Services desired.
5+ years of product marketing in a B2B technology company desired.
Proven ability to deliver full market positioning and messaging for a solution including value proposition, competitive differentiators, ideal client profiles and priority target sectors/verticals.
Excellent influencing and communication skills are essential to successfully engage with clients, executive levels and internal support teams.
A “can do” attitude and consistently energetic approach to work. Experience of working with high performing product management individuals and teams.
Ability to work on own initiative and often under pressure to demanding timelines occasionally requiring work after normal hours.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and project management skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
