What You'll DoProcess incoming email, mail and calls from clients, lenders and insurance company personnelProcess policies as new business, renewals or rewritesUnderstand risks/needs with high net worth clientele and proper carrier placementProcess changes and follow up with client as necessaryWork with underwriters to create unique risk solutions for high net worth clienteleMaintain client profiles/policies in agency management systemMaintain and be responsible for expiration reportsCounsel clients and team on coverage and limitsAssess when accounts need to be taken to market, quote and proposeProvide proactive Risk Management techniques in identifying, analyzing and responding to a client's needsProvide renewal summaries of insurance in accordance with renewal service standards/schedule renewal meetings, when necessaryResponsible to actively account round and cross sell when appropriateReview monthly statements from accounting and take necessary actionCollaborate with team and department manager to assist with time-sensitive work or when team is overloadedWork accurately and timely in all processesUnderstand and follow all company and department processes and proceduresWork efficiently and effectively in a team environmentEnsure behavior consistently reflects the best interests of the team and the clientProject a positive attitude toward company goals and team objectives and provide support to team membersUtilize intuitive behaviors to work with various personalities and stylesDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendorsPursue a program for professional development consistent with your positionYou Should HaveMinimum 5 years of personal lines experience within a retail insurance brokerageMinimum 2 years of experience servicing a complex book of high net worth (HNW) clientele requiredMust be a middle market product expert and have knowledge of HNW carriersProven track record of managing an increasingly complex book of business ranging from $300k+ in revenueDemonstrated ability to negotiate on client's behalf and make strong, direct recommendationsDemonstrated ability to delegate, effectively manage workflows, and problem solve independentlyMust be willing to pursue a designation and professional development programSalary Range : $75,000 — $85,000 USD
