The Executive Director will have a deep understanding of carceral systems and an abiding commitment to justice system reform, balancing various interests and values including public health, racial equity, rehabilitation, community safety, and social justice. This commitment must be balanced by practical knowledge and experience in navigating challenges presented when working to align large, complex, and siloed systems. The individual will need to influence, motivate, and challenge stakeholders to reach consensus in order to reach established goals.
