R100079922The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Project Manager to work in the UHealth Medical Campus.Core Job Summary :The Project Manager, Research Support coordinates and leads efforts in a variety of research activities that are complex and wide in scope. The Project Manager operates with the goal of ensuring that the collection of data and administration of studies are performed efficiently and in compliance with applicable guidelines.Core ResponsibilitiesAids in the evaluation of problems with workflow, organization, and planning and develops appropriate analytical approaches.Maintains multiple protocol books and chronicles manuscript preparation.Performs analyses of computerized datasets using standard packages to import, update, and manipulate datasets.Presents studies’ results at professional scientific meetings and conferences.Writes manuscripts and journal articles for peer-reviewed medical journals.Ensures that research program objectives are communicated, met, and results are documented.Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.Department Specific Functions:Interacts with administrations from other programs, departments, and institutes (CFAR, HEIDI/AIDS institute, CTSI, office of the executive dean for research, department of Medicine administration).This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.CORE QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in relevant field requiredMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceKnowledge, Skills and Attitudes:Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.Knowledge of HIV and STD prevention services including routine HIV testing, treatment, and PrEP.Job Status:
