Halfdays is an outdoor apparel brand for the modern woman with a mission to make outdoor sports more approachable, inclusive, and fun.We are looking for a commercially-minded leader with at least 8 years of experience in an emerging outdoor, beauty, or fashion brand.
This role is based out of our headquarters in Denver, CO.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.Own the market process each season, scheduling and managing meetings with key retail partners.Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team.Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale partners.Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize sales and profitability.Manage in-store activations, merchandising and any additional marketing opportunities with our retail partners.Ensure excellent customer service and support to wholesale accounts.Market Analysis and Reporting:Monitor in-season sell-through at retail partners, identifying potential opportunities for additional sales and/or a reset in merchandising.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the leadership team.Identify and address potential challenges and opportunities in the market.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies and merchandising with overall business objectives.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of growth plans.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).8+ years of experience in sales management, with a focus on wholesale relationships in the outdoor apparel industry. Merchandising experience would be a nice addition.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong understanding of the outdoor apparel market and industry trends.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel as needed to meet with wholesale partners and attend industry events.Salary Range:
