Job DescriptionReporting to the Vice-President Revenue Management & Business Performance, the Revenue Management Strategy Director's duties will be:Within the commercial team at Orient-Express, the Revenue Manager Strategy Director drives Silenseas Orient-Express commercial strategy for Cruises by planning on board the bigger sailing yachts of the world, managing, and optimizing all revenue streams.The role is responsible for optimizing the net ticket revenue delivery of assigned products across the full selling cycle from launch. The manager oversees the revenue team actions through price, inventory, and cost management, developing appropriate strategies for the range of products.Play a pivotal role in setting up the relevant distribution systems as the company is set to open Sales.Rolling out the Business Intelligence ecosystem to effectively follow performance, strategy assessment, customer insights, and competition tracking through leading-edge data-driven insights, measurements, and advanced analytics.Monitor long-term performance and complete revenue forecasts in a timely manner to accurately project demand.Optimize pricing strategies through definition and management of all rates, rate levels, terms and conditions, and other tactics to reflect demand and other market conditions.Maximize cabin/room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory, content, and rates therein.Take into account the analysis of the competition's offer and the evolution of Silenseas capacity.Establish regular and reliable performance projections through cruising and trend monitoring (R&O).Manage Yield through the different revenue management levers (Single Supplement, etc.).Be the Guarantor of erosion control, through control of the scope and level of erosion of each commercial offer.Carry out reports and analyses. Participate in the budgetary process through the projection of volume and revenue objectives per cruise.Be responsible for managing revenue management tools and the integrity of associated data. Issue alerts and make recommendations to enable the achievement of objectives by supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Communication Department in its strategic orientations.

QualificationsMinimum of 6-8 years of work experience in Revenue management / Pricing / distribution.Strong business acumen / strategic thinker.Perfect understanding of travel/train/hotel luxury industry and how to drive topline.Leadership, experience as a manager.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Required tech skills for the role: Microsoft Office, worked with RMS/inventory system, database understandings.Language: English (proficient), French is a plus.
