THE ROLEThe Strategy Senior Associate leads end-to-end delivery of the DTC channels most important commercial projects. The role is responsible for overseeing and building all aspects of Strategy projects including the approach, strategy, experience design, testing, go-to-market and launch execution. The Sr. Associate will act as an engagement manager, managing the project team and collaborating cross-functionally with researchers, business owners and designers to bring value to market. They will oversee and create deliverables, lead recommendations and socialization, while ensuring timely delivery of concurrent projects. The Strategy Sr. Associate will bring creativity, industry best practices, and customer feedback to solve problems in ways that enable rapid delivery of customer and business value.THE TEAMThe DTC Strategy team is responsible for setting the multi-year strategic agenda for the Direct to Consumer channel and driving commercial value through the end-to-end delivery of complex projects focused on unlocking net-new growth, new capabilities, optimizations or efficiencies. Our fast-moving, multi-disciplinary team leads all aspects of project delivery from discovery, research and design, valuation, testing and validation to launch, scale and stabilization. We’re a lean but diverse team of people — in skillset and life — that are endlessly curious, tactfully rebellious, and proud over-sharers who strongly believe in progress over perfection.RESPONSIBILITIESDiscovery & Strategy DesignLead strategy phase planning and approach creation (e.g. scope, approach, project planning, resourcing and governance)Oversee or lead all aspects of phase delivery including project management, coordination, workshop facilitation and deliverable build-outWork with key business stakeholders, designers, researchers to design all aspects of the strategy: awareness/media plan, offer, assortment, experience, operating model, implementation requirements, etc.Lead project valuation including business case development in partnership with Finance organizationOwn strategy recommendation and deliverable documentation; deliver leadership communications and alignmentTesting & ValidationOversee execution of prototyping and pilot initiatives, guiding a cross-functional team on the experience design, build, and launchDefine key learning criteria in support of business case, learning plan, experience design and/or optimization, and go-to-market strategyLead all aspects of testing delivery including measurement and validation including refreshed business case from learningsBuild and communicate recommendations to leadershipImplementation & ExecutionOversee implementation plan including design, business requirements, and launch timing and dependenciesWork with key stakeholders in marketing, direct to consumer (Experience, Commercial, DevOps, etc.), IT, Finance, analytics, et al to bring initiatives to marketManage initiative stabilization, hyper-care and on-going optimizationDrive project transition and handover to business including change managementHard SkillsExperience working in Direct to Consumer, Strategy and/or Management Consulting (4+ years), MBA preferredExperience leading cross-functional project teamsStrategy development, delivery and executionFinancial modeling, valuation and business case creationStrong presentation creation and communication skillsProject management and initiative leadershipExperience with Digital Technology and/or implementation deliveryFamiliarity with different technology platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and launching new digital capabilitiesSoft SkillsSelf-starter but collaborativeCurious at the core and customer-focusedWilling to wear multiple hatsComfortable with ambiguityEnjoys problem solvingSkilled at active listeningStrong relationship builderBose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
