The successful candidate will have experience in patent litigation before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field, with an advanced degree or industry experience considered a plus. Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred.Duties:Represent clients in patent litigation matters before U.S. district courts, the ITC, and the PTAB.Develop and execute litigation strategies, including preparing case briefs, legal research, and motion practice.Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Manage discovery processes, including document review, depositions, and preparation for evidentiary hearings.Participate in trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments effectively.Collaborate with clients, technical experts, and senior attorneys to build and support patent litigation cases.Analyze complex technical information and apply it to legal strategies and arguments.Stay informed on developments in patent law, litigation trends, and technological advancements.Maintain thorough and organized case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal procedures.Requirements:Experience litigating patent cases before U.S. district courts, the ITC, or the PTAB.Preferred educational background includes an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.Advanced degree or industry experience in relevant technical fields is a plus.Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred.Education:JD degree from an accredited law school.Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field is preferred.Certifications:Membership in the Patent Bar is preferred.Skills:Strong experience and knowledge in patent litigation and intellectual property law.Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to patent disputes.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Ability to understand and interpret complex technical information.Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present cases effectively.Experience with managing discovery processes and case documentation.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Commitment to staying current with developments in patent law and technology.
