Fully manage the Mechanical, Electrical, Software, X-ray and Imaging engineering groups for the Industrial Systems Division. • Assume full responsibility for the technical delivery of the system according to the contractually defined scope of work. • Work very closely with Operations Manager and Project Managers to provide work effort estimations and ensure their ability to effectively manage all Operational activity on a real-time basis and ensure a smooth hand off of a complete design package from Engineering to Operations. • Responsible for oversight of new product development. • Meet financial objectives by preparing the engineering budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action. • Ensure complete understanding of final deliverable to customer via review of technical proposals, design drawings/schematics and BOMs to ensure built systems meet requirements. • Audit released BOMs and drawings against SOW and customer proposals on a regular basis. • Liaison between Engineering group, Project Management staff and Sales team on proposal efforts and awarded projects. • Complete responsibility for the management of all Engineers to include hiring, placement, training, mentoring, performance appraisals and communication and monitoring of assigned job responsibilities. • Schedule, plan and coordinate all Engineering jobs and resources to achieve optimum use of resources while meeting project schedules and budgets. • Prepare reports for upper management on status of engineering projects. • Mentor Engineering team to stay on top of technology and incorporate innovative and cost/time saving changes into designs. • Develop and implement process improvements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of Engineering Group deliverables to include identification and correction of flaws in existing processes. • Interface directly with customers through presentations, meetings, or other communication media to represent the company. • Ensures compliance of company policies, procedures and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects. Industrial Systems Engineering Manager

Essential Skills: BS in Engineering; preferably in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines. At least 5 years hands-on Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering design experience; ideally of custom or semi-custom Systems. 3+ years of experience managing a project-based engineering team responsible for bringing a system from concept to customer acceptance at customer site. Demonstrated leadership skills managing multi-disciplined engineering resources in multiple locations. A highly creative, detail-oriented team player with exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong command of the English language with well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Established time management and organizational skills that allow for the successful management of multiple tasks simultaneously while working under pressure in an evolving, fast-paced environment. Must have sound decision making skills with the ability to exercise good judgment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite of Tools, Adobe CS and ERP & CRM systems. Available and willing to travel domestically and Internationally. US Citizen or permanent resident legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment and random drug screening protocols. Non-Essential Skills: Master’s Degree in Engineering Discipline or MBA preferred. Experience with Solid works and AutoCAD Electrical. Familiarity with the non-destructive testing (NDT) market. Understanding of x-ray technology. MS AX experience. Familiarity working according to quality standards and procedures. Prior experience working for a capital equipment or electro-mechanical system manufacturing Company. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, walk, bend and stand. Expected to effectively communicate in person, on phone, and via email and other electronic devices on a continual and repetitive basis. Will need to repeatedly use hands to finger, handle, feel and operate standard office equipment. Day to day responsibilities may require lifting, moving, carrying, and maneuvering materials up to 50 pounds alone; heavier with assistance.
