Remote / Chicago, ILRole Description:The NP Fellowship Program Coordinator supports the ongoing innovation and management of this groundbreaking program to support new graduate NPs in their transition to practice in a value-based care model. This role ensures the success and adaptation of a rapidly growing program in the years to come. The coordinator will help support key aspects of the program including scheduling, recruitment, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Post-Graduate Training.Responsibilities include:Oversee program participant recruitment activities, including:establishing visits at schools of nursing and other partnersplanning and executing in-person and virtual recruitment eventscollaborating with marketing team to create written materials and disseminate to relevant outletsdeveloping the fellowship’s presence and cultivating ongoing contentmaintaining program website and other promotional program contentassisting in the hiring processMonitor progress on overall fellowship work plan activities, communicate challenges to supervisor and suggest corrective actions.Lead the development, dissemination and management of the program participants’ schedule, including preceptors and specialty rotations.Partner with fellowship faculty to maintain the didactic curriculum schedule.Plan, coordinate and lead the fellows’ orientation, graduation, procedure clinics, and other activities.Compile evaluation data to create summary dashboards for preceptors and fellows.Maintain all program data and disseminate findings to the fellowship team.Assist in planning and leading regular team meetings.Assist in the application for accreditation.Maintain fellowship standard operating procedures and ensure they are updated periodically.Support NP faculty, preceptors and fellows on relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.What we’re looking for:B.S./B.A. degree requiredExperience working with clinical learners or with providers is preferred but not requiredA highly organized individual who can keep multiple tasks moving forwardExceptional communication skills, able to prepare written and verbal reports, and communicate complex and delicate informationComfort presenting to and communicating with senior leaders as well as front-line staffHighly collaborative, able to coordinate with and across multiple departments and navigate a matrixed organizational structureGoal-setting and long-range planning: must be able to work with the program team to organize and coordinate systems in order to achieve objectivesAppreciates a challenge and brings a solution-oriented approach to problemsProficiency with standard commercial Office Suite, especially Google WorkSpaceExperience coordinating clinical operations and/or project managementAn ideal candidate will have experience in:Medical schedulingCoordinating clinical operations and/or project managementIndependent, self-guided workFlexible and adaptable to support a rapidly growing programWhat does being Oaky look like?Radiating positive energyAssuming good intentionsCreating an unmatched patient experienceDriving clinical excellenceTaking ownership and delivering resultsBeing relentlessly determinedWhy Oak Street Health?Oak Street Health is on a mission to rebuild healthcare as it should be, providing personalized primary care for older adults on Medicare, with the goal of keeping patients healthy and living life to the fullest.
