The

Health & Benefits Consultant

will play a pivotal role in directly managing and executing benefit program strategies in collaboration with internal and external (clients & vendors) stakeholders. Primary responsibilities will be focused on leading the delivery of large employer group Health & Welfare Benefits consulting engagements for complex clients while serving as a key point of contact for our clients. By collaborating closely with the consulting team, the Health & Benefits Consultant will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional consulting services and ensuring the success of our client’s health and group benefit programs. Dedication and a proactive approach will be essential in maintaining effective relationships and driving positive outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee the day-to-day activities of client engagementsManage complex projects, teams, and client deliverables through a detail-oriented approach to project managementPrepare for and facilitate client & vendor meetings as part of the broader client teamLead and support the development of client benefit strategies tailored to a client’s specific business needs, objectives, and desired outcomesAnalyze vendor products, proposals, and services including ongoing issue resolutionSupport intellectual capital development in collaboration with Senior Consultants & PrincipalsAssist with business development, including proposal development and participation in prospect presentationsServe as a technical resource and mentor AnalystsAnalyze financial metrics related to health and welfare benefit plans (e.g., medical, dental, vision, well-being, disability, etc.) in coordination with the actuarial and analytics teamSupport ad-hoc client requestsPerform other duties as assignedWhat You’ll Need:

5+ years’ experience leading client engagements and complex teams at consultant, broker, or carrierIn-depth knowledge of health and welfare plans including design, financials, underwriting, vendors, and solutionsAbility to manage complex projects, working with large teamsStrong client-facing and communication skillsAbility to work independentlyStrong analytical skillsProficient with MS Office SuiteStrong math and statistics skillsPreferred Experience And Skills:

Track record of client retention and growth of existing client relationshipsSelf-funded underwriting experience, strongly preferredBachelor's degreeWhat We Offer:
