A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney to join their team in Albuquerque, NM.Job Overview:
The Employment Litigation Attorney will defend and litigate lawsuits related to employment matters, provide legal counsel to employers on labor and employment laws, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.Duties:
Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.Requirements:
JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred.Active NM Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork, along with the ability to work independently on various projects.
