is seeking to hire FULL TIME BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist with experience in advanced cardiac imaging to join a 17 year well-established and thriving practice. The Cardiologist will join a large multispecialty practice of 3 BC Interventional Cardiologists, 8 BC Internal Medicine physicians, 1 BC Allergy/Immunology physician and 6 Nurse Practitioners. The group works cooperatively with a private cardiology group in providing comprehensive cardiovascular services at Spartanburg Medical Center. Clinical work will be done at 3 Spartanburg Regional facilities.The ideal candidate will have advanced (Level 3) fellowship training and/or appropriate Board Certification in cardiac imaging, especially in areas of advanced transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology.Responsibilities:
Practice provides in-house echo, stress echo and stress nuclear studiesOffice call5-6 new consults dailyEcho reads 3-4 per dayHospital call2-3 new consults dailyCall 1:4Unassigned call
5-10 new hospital consults daily30 echo reads/dayCall 2x a month
