Our Opportunity:

The Talent Partner Specialist is responsible for partnering with employees, managers and senior managers within Snyk and the wider People Team to help implement our People strategy over a broad range of initiatives.

Within this high impact role you’ll provide support and feedback to the wider TBP team, partnering with managers/senior managers including management training and coaching, team member engagement programs, organizational development, and employee relations

This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week being based in our Boston office.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

Forming effective relationships with people team members and people managers providing People guidance when appropriate.

Typically supporting front-line managers/Sr. Managers.

Analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and learning opportunities.

Participating in effective, thorough and objective investigations within their aligned departments and addressing employee concerns in a timely and confidential manner.

Analyzing surface related trends within the client group.

Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Escalating cases as needed to more senior level TBPs; partner with the Legal department as needed/required.

Working closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Supporting the execution of company-wide Talent Programs to include Annual Talent Assessments and Compensation Reviews.

Providing training and coaching to managers on effective talent management practices.

Utilizing performance data to identify trends and inform talent management decisions.

Partnering with TBP s and people managers to resolve employee disputes and conflicts.

Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

What You’ll Need:

Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

At least 5 years of relevant, progressive Talent Business Partner experience.

The ability to prioritize effectively, focussing on results that matter.

The ability to create and deliver full-cycle projects (start to finish) with good outcomes promptly.

Team player attitude, who acts proactively and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Ability to solve problems of moderate complexity; resourceful and takes the initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem-solving.

Good EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates sound, consistent, trusted judgment.

Comfortable with high volume and a very fast-paced workload; not afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to complete more tactical work.

Ability to switch between strategic and tactical work daily.
