Customer Solutions Consultant

(CSC) works to streamline and enhance the customer experience by bridging gaps between Sales, Services, Success, Support, and Product. CSCs have a passion for problem solving, interpersonal savvy, and subject matter expertise to deliver an optimal customer journey and technical solutions. Their positive attitude, empathy, and ability to identify with a customer’s mindset is used to effectively advocate internally for customer needs and drive for results.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert on designated facets of VelocityEHS productsAct as “connective tissue” on technical matters between Sales, Services, Success, Support, and ProductEnable customer-facing and technical teams to streamline and enhance the customer experienceActively manage JIRA board of technical customer issues in collaboration with Product and Development teamsWork in Salesforce Service Cloud for case details in conjunction with Success and Support teamsConsult on and develop internal support materials, solutions sheets, and help center articlesLeverage change management fundamentals to drive ongoing communicationsManage internal continuous improvement initiatives and processesIndependently solve simple customer issuesIndependently coordinate relevant parties and solve complex customer issuesProactively anticipate outcomes and strategize with customers for the best possible solution(s)Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain simple solutions to internal stakeholders and external customersMinimum Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related science field such as Kinesiology, Engineering, Public and Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental required1-3 years of relevant experience in Software as a Service (SaaS), Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and/or similar industry requiredStrong active listening, written, and verbal communication skills to effectively manage customer and internal stakeholder expectationsExperience owning internal processesDetail-oriented and self-motivatedStrong decision-making, organizational, and analytical skillsExperience maintaining a high level of activity, managing multiple ongoing projects, working independently, and working effectively in a team environmentProactive learner and open to constructive feedbackPreferred Skills and QualificationsMaster’s degree or advanced knowledge of the EHS spaceDemonstrated experience leading live, written, and virtual customer and senior management communicationDemonstrated experience developing internal processes and workflowsStrong understanding of software methodologies, behavior, processes, and customer journey across Sales, Services, Success, Support, and ProductVelocityEHS is the largest and fastest-growing environmental, health, safety (EHS), and sustainability software company in the world.
