Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districts seeks an attorney to join its Litigation practice group. If you are interested in joining a team that works on landmark cases, we encourage you to apply.
Candidates will be considered for the following DWK offices: San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, East Bay, Fresno
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of ten years of litigation experience, including the below qualifications:
Experience handling complex civil litigation matters from initiation to resolution including arbitration, mediation and/or trialsStrong case management skills, including ability and initiative to lead matters, manage deadlines and move matters forwardAbility to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesExcellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skillsExcellent leadership skillsFlexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entitiesEducation law experience and/or public entity experience preferredPrior experience with insurance defense and personal injury defense a plusAdmission to the California State Bar

The anticipated annual salary wage range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $165,000 to $190,000. The final annual salary wage offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience in the job, type and years of experience in the industry, education, and other factors.
