Summary

The Director of Clinic Operations oversees the day-to-day activities and development of the clinics, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. Responsible for the quality of patient care; ensures that safe patient care is provided by qualified, competent, patient care staff to all patients who present to the clinics. This position, through Clinic Managers, provides both clinical and personnel supervision of clinic staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing strategic direction to Clinic Managers and other employees under the supervision of the Director of Clinic Operations.

Responsible for the following areas within the clinic: Patient Access Representatives, Medical Records, Medical Billing Specialists, Medical Assistants, Nursing, & Neurodiagnostic staff.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring and training efforts as needed by the department(s).

Develop, organize and oversee the work and schedules of centralized teams staff. Assist in processing payroll, time off requests for staff within the department(s).

Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including providing career development planning and opportunities and support through challenging interdepartmental issues that might arise.

Preferred Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare and administration or a healthcare-related field is required.

Registered Nurse preferred, with an active California State Board of Nursing License.

5+ years of experience in the healthcare field; 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

Travel Required

Required to commute among clinic locations according to work schedule and clinic needs.
