DescriptionSummary : The Credit Data Analyst is responsible for assisting with the management of the loan portfolio by creating and reviewing reports, assisting the Accounting Department with the month-end book closing process, and maintaining/enhancing the Credit Analytics Data Mart. The role will also assist with various projects within the department as they relate to the loan portfolio and credit analysis. Candidates should have strong technical skills.Salary : Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location.All applicants need to attach a recent resume. This is a hybrid role (4 days in office/1 day remote).Responsibilities :Produce comprehensive reports related to monitoring and managing the Bank’s loan portfolio for various internal and external stakeholders. Identify and articulate key trends and data drivers. Utilize tools including, but not limited to, SQL and Fiserv Business Analytics.Assist the Accounting Department in the reconciliation of loan balances in the Credit Analytics Data Mart with the General Ledger on a monthly basis. Identify and resolve data anomalies impacting financial reporting as part of this process.Contribute to production of quarterly Credit Risk Committee presentations for Board and senior management. Gather and generate portfolio data, charts, and graphs while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Attend and transcribe minutes.Develop and enhance reporting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Assist in maintenance of the Credit Analytics Data Mart, working with team members and the Data Team to develop and implement database enhancements.Assist in monthly loan pledging processes.Identify, research, and resolve key loan data quality issues.Maintain written procedures related to Credit Analytics processes.Assist in cross-departmental projects.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications :Minimum of 1 year experience in banking or related field.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills.Highly motivated and flexible, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities at times.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals to achieve organizational / department objectives.Strong Excel skills, with the ability to utilize advanced Excel functionality.Proficient in PowerPoint and Word.Knowledge of SQL, Fiserv Premier, Fiserv Business Analytics, and Microsoft Access pluses.Knowledge of Commercial Credit a plus.
