Experience with contracts, governance, corporate structures, component/affiliate relations, licensing, membership programs, and lobbying is advantageous.Job Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to nonprofit and association clients.Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, bylaws, and articles of incorporation.Advise clients on matters related to governance and corporate structures.Assist with component/affiliate relations and regulatory compliance.Handle licensing and membership program issues.Participate in lobbying efforts on behalf of clients.Requirements:Minimum of 4+ years of experience practicing law.Experience in a law firm setting is preferred.Admission to the Maryland Bar.Strong knowledge of nonprofit and association law.Familiarity with tax-exempt organizations and related regulations.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Maryland Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong understanding of nonprofit and association legal issues.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Capacity to build and maintain client relationships.Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws and regulations.Job Location:
