The Vice President of Learning is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives within a large and complex organization. This role ensures that learning strategies align with the organization's goals, drive performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The VP of Learning will collaborate with senior leaders to identify learning needs, manage learning technologies, and lead a team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels.Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:Enhance and adapt a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives.Serve as a thought leader and advisor on learning and development trends, best practices, and innovations.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify strategic learning needs and priorities across the organization.Advocate for a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization.Program Development and Management:Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-impact learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and compliance-related education.Ensure that learning programs are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with the needs of a diverse workforce.Manage the implementation and utilization of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and performance support tools.Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and ensure continuous improvement.Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of learning and development professionals.Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages the sharing of ideas and best practices.Manage the learning budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.Stakeholder Engagement:Partner with business leaders, HR, and other key stakeholders to ensure that learning initiatives support organizational goals and drive business outcomes.Communicate the value and impact of learning programs to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Act as a liaison between the learning function and other departments to integrate learning initiatives with broader organizational strategies.Change Management:Lead change management efforts related to learning initiatives, ensuring that new programs and technologies are effectively integrated into the organization.Support the development of change management strategies and tools to help employees adapt to new learning processes and technologies.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure that all learning programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Manage risks associated with learning and development initiatives, including data privacy and security concerns related to learning technologies.Key Competencies:
