Candidate must have strong hands-on technical expertise in Python, Flask and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Success in this position will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality code, meeting project deadlines and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. This role is critical to the organization's success as it will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive business growth.Functional CompetenciesPRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESExperience with creating, deploying, configuring applications using PythonExpert knowledge in REST API design and implementation in FLASKExperience with automated provisioning of Dev/Test/Staging and Production environments using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelineExperience with version control systems like GIT, Azure DevOps, SVN etc. (Branching, tagging, Push)Experience using Pycharm or Visual Studio Code or Jupyter etc.Experience in writing Unit test, Integration test and REST API testing using Postman, SOAP UIAbility to prepare detailed build/test plans with Python for test casesAbility to break down application requirements, propose appropriate architectural solutions and translate that into codeKey ResponsibilitiesProviding input and participating in design, implementation & support activities in the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of an application in Python Flask frameworkDesigning, building and deploying On-Prem application to Azure CloudResponsible for scripting and programming to deploy and operate our production systemsUpdating incident cases in the IT Service Management systemDocumentation and reportingParticipate in on-call rotation, drive incident resolution, live troubleshooting and impact mitigationEvaluate/implement/maintain software build processes & automation tools to support software product developmentMaintain discipline around build and release operations, best-practices, and protocols across the entire development teamRun and Maintain different Product environments (dev, staging, sandbox, production)Help architect, build, and deploy secure infrastructure in support of Dispatch Dev teams including standards for Docker environments, load balancers, and AKS ClusterMonitor ticketing system for reported issues and assist development groups in the timely resolution of opened tickets. - Standardize and document development and deployment operations and methodsQualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service3+ years developing with scripting language i.e. Python with at least 2 years focused on Cloud/Non-Cloud AutomationExperience with handling API call like POST/GET/PUT via Python FlaskExperience with pandas, numpy, dataframe, request libraries/packages, OOPS conceptsExperience of working in Agile framework using Atlassian tools like Jira, Kanban, ConfluenceDevelop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins, AzureMaintain Git/Azure repo workflows for source code managementAzure certificationLinux system administrator skills and TCP/IP network fundamentalsExperience with CI/CD tools like Git, GitHub, Stash, SVN, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, Maven, Artifactory, etc.Experience with Docker, microservices and container-based deployment and service orchestration using Docker, AKS(Azure Kubernetes Service)Terraform/ARM orchestration tool deployment on AzureBachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field3-7 years in Enterprise IT or equivalent work experienceBehavioral CompetenciesTeamworking skillsA logical approach to problem solving/analytical skillsConfident decision makingGood organizational skills to prioritize heavy workloadsFlexibility and adaptabilityGood time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment to produce outstanding resultsAbility to learn quicklyExcellent customer service skillsAbility to communicate technical information to non-IT audiencesReporting RelationshipsStaff Engineer, DevOps and CloudCompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.$150,000 - $170,000The firm also offers robust Benefits offerings.
