Position: Azure Devops and Kubernetes
Location: Whitehouse Station - NJ (On-Site)
Duration: Long Term.
Role Description:
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.• Kubernetes Operations: Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters, ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.• CI/CD Pipeline: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate application deployments and infrastructure changes.• Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.• Security Compliance: Ensure that all systems and infrastructure adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.• Automation: Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Experience:• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps roles.• Proven experience with Kubernetes, including cluster setup, management, and troubleshooting.• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Skills:• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and microservices.• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Helm, etc.).• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor.• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
