POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, Brand Partnership Development is responsible for generating sponsorship revenue for Alterra Mountain Company (AMC). The position is responsible for creating, negotiating, and securing enterprise sponsorship opportunities and supporting local resort sales efforts. Working with AMC and resort leadership, this position will focus on leveraging the buying and negotiating power of representing all of the entities across the AMC portfolio to maximize sponsorship revenue for the company. The role will report to the Vice President, Brand Partnerships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

General ResponsibilitiesProspect, qualify, and sell enterprise and local sponsorship opportunities for Alterra Mountain Company within and outside a defined set of verticals.Support and grow existing partnerships through renewal.Create sales materials including but not limited to capabilities presentations, pitch decks, proposals and term sheets.Work with Alterra Mountian Company legal team on the development and negotiation of sponsorship contracts.Meet or exceed individual annual sponsorship revenue targets established by the VP, Brand Partnerships and Alterra leadership.Work in partnership with resort and company leadership to identify and create new partnership assets across the destinations and Ikon PassCollaborate with Alterra destinations and cross-functional business units on the development of sponsorship packages using a consultative approach.Provide weekly pipeline report and forecast using company CRM.Work closely with brand partnership activation team to on-board new deals and provide ongoing strategic support where needed.Develop annual sales plan for assigned verticals and participate in annual planning process.Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of sales experienceExperience in the ski resort industry a plusExperience selling sponsorships in a multi-property structure a plusRolodex of executive level contacts across a variety of industriesProven track record of selling complex sponsorship dealsIn depth knowledge of CRM toolsExcellent presentation skills and able to present in front of both large and small groupsAdaptability, capable of multitaskingIntermediate or better Ski/snowboard skills requiredAbility to accommodate travel scheduleStrong computer skills/Microsoft Word, Power Point, ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekendsSuperior organizational and follow-up skillsTeam playerStrong attention to detail

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $85,000 - $128,000 per year
