The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board-certified cardiothoracic anesthesiologist to serve as the

Division Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.The University of Minnesota Medical Center is a quaternary care academic institution with an adult and congenital cardiac surgical program that cares for about 1000 patients per year. A key strength is the heart failure program with a well-developed cardiac assist device and strong transplant program including lung transplants.The Department of Anesthesiology is committed to creating a legacy of discovery, innovation and compassion in patient care, research and education of leaders in anesthesiology. Additional areas of focus of the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology are Enhanced Recovery after Cardiac Surgery (ERACS), right heart failure and pulmonary hypertension, and bloodless cardiac surgery.
