Our all-in-one, “business in a box” solution optimizes and automates operations and accelerates cash-flow for drivers, so they can focus on building their business.The Data Analytics team at CloudTrucks owns all business reporting end-to-end, and develops both internal and customer-facing, data analytics products in collaboration with Product development teams.As a Data Analyst for Safety, Compliance and Operations, you will:
Work closely with Safety, Operations, and Business Platform teams, owning data pipelines, reporting, and in-depth analyses that help these teams make day-to-day and product decisions.Examples of projects that you may work on:
Safety and Compliance:
A important part of running a freight carrier involves making sure we have safe drivers on the road, who are compliant with the required regulations. You’ll be able to leverage data from disparate sources to build safety and compliance tools, ranging from creating alerts for drivers who might be at risk of failing compliance, predict when drivers might be in need of a maintenance check, or develop Safety and Performance scores.Carrier Operations:
The Carrier Operations team supports drivers at every point of the job lifecycle, from booking their next job to dealing with unexpected problems or getting paid. You’ll be able to help the team measure what matters at every point of a job lifecycle, forecast costs associated with load recoveries, and help them identify process improvement opportunities through data.Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end reporting for Safety, Operations, and Business Platform teams, from building the data pipeline to data visualization.Build data pipelines to support both internal and customer-facing products, and collaborate with Product development teams to launch and measure success.Work cross-functionally to build KPIs, and develop complex transformative analyses that help teams improve their processes and make product decisions.Communicate insights and recommendations to a broader audience, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.What we are looking for:
3+ years of experience as an analyst.Interest in Freight Industry, with special focus on Safety, Compliance, and Operations.Interest in product analytics and helping teams make better data-driven decisions.Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Heap, Amplitude).Exposure to software engineering principles - version control, code reviews, unit testing.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Experience working alongside Business Operations teams.Ability to communicate and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.A natural curiosity and comfort trying new things that may not have existing playbooks.An intrinsic drive to automate menial or low-value tasks.Nice to haves:
Experience with Python or R.Experience with data pipeline development tools like dbt, dataform.Experience working in Freight Operations or Logistics.Experience working at high-growth startups. Preference for experience in consumer tech, marketplace, or SaaS industries.About CloudTrucks:
