As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home, we safeguard essential systems like plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surge protection, hot water heaters, and interior electrical components. Outside the home, we ensure the protection of vital lines, including water, gas, wells, sewers, electric, and septic systems. We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. The Head of Sales & Strategy is a critical role within an organization, responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing strategic plans, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve success. This role will be developing winning sales and retention strategies while delivering strong customer experience and putting customer value first.

Responsibilities

Develop a top-tier sales & retention department within our contact center by coaching and developing our existing talent, retaining top talent and identifying areas of investment.Design and implement sales strategies throughout the call center by analyzing customer trends, evaluating scripting, and identifying new product and promotion opportunities.Own sales & retention targets & compensation structure and align with delivering on business objectives.Analyze customer data and trends to identify areas for improvement; this includes tracking sales & retention performance, identifying underperforming areas, and developing strategies to improve results.In partnership with the Vice President of Customer Experience ensure that we prioritize customer needs and experience above all else and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.Partner with product management and technology to ensure the contact center sales team has the technology needed to deliver and exceed goals.Collaborate with marketing & pricing / product teams to deliver reliable sales forecasts that drive business planning efforts.Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices; this includes attending industry events, reading trade publications, and networking with other sales professionals.Experience

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.8+ years of experience in a sales leadership role with a track record of consistently recognizing and rewarding excellent performance and addressing performance issues head-on, without delay. Ideally 5+ years direct management of sales agents, and 3+ years of managing sales managers.Proven success of achieving and exceeding revenue growth.Proven leader of multiple layers within successful inside sales teams.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Experience leveraging 3rd party vendors for supplemental sales.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong bias for data-based decision makingEducation
