Tekdelite LLC has an opening for the position of Systems Analyst 4 (Ref# SA819MS).
Work Location: Okemos, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and analyze data and processes related to client projects. Evaluate existing systems and applications to determine their effectiveness in meeting client requirements. Understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system. Analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements. Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Identify areas where upgrades or enhancements are needed. Work with technical teams to design software-based solutions that align with client business objectives. Create system design documents and functional specifications. Create and execute test plans to ensure that software solutions meet client requirements and quality standards. Identify and report defects for resolution. Maintain thorough documentation of system requirements, design, and testing processes. Ensure that all project documentation is up to date. Assist in the process of implementing changes or upgrades to the software systems. Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system. Upgrade systems and correct errors to maintain systems after implementation. Facilitate communication between the client and software developers and vendors. Address questions and concerns from stakeholders and provide updates on project progress. Provide training and support to client staff members who will be using the software applications. Ensure that end-users understand how to use the software effectively. Help clients adapt to new technologies and processes. Use data analysis tools to extract insights from client-related data. Create reports and dashboards to provide management with insights into the performance of the projects and the effectiveness of the software solutions. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Product Owner, Solution Designer, Business Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
