Our Clinical Solutions Commercial team is responsible for defining segment-based go-to-market strategies and then driving the execution of those plans. We deliver value by developing a deep understanding of our customers and the product and content needs for their relevant users. We collaborate with colleagues from Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing, Content, Informatics and Technology to ensure the success of our mission: To improve every patient outcome. About the Role

This role focuses specifically on our ClinicalKey solution and offerings for physicians in North America. As the Commercial Director, you will drive the strategy for the segment and identify opportunities for growth and new markets. You will contribute to achieving our financial targets with thoughtful analysis and in-depth market knowledge. You will work directly with customers and bring market insights to cross-functional teams, prioritizing product roadmaps. You will support the sales and account management teams, developing and implementing strategies across key market segments to support new business and renewals. This role will report into the VP Go-To-Market, Physician and Pharmacist Solutions. We are open to a remote candidate within the US for this role.

Responsibilities

Identifying customer needs: define customer needs and develop strategies to go after those opportunities. Working as the organization's primary market expert. Bringing customer and market perspective to the prioritization of product roadmaps and market strategies fostering strategic customer and partner relationships. Identify M&A targets.identifying, innovating, and driving forward ClinicalKey commercial business models to enable growth and achieve customer adoption for long-term success. (Business model development).Leading product launches. Leading the execution of market launches for ClinicalKey solutions. Collaborating with the cross-functional team that includes marketing, customers success and other key stakeholders. Identifying and partnering with pilot customers driving user validated product launches and migrations.Developing relationships with strategic customers and participate on sales calls. Sharing strategic innovation roadmaps and support the sales team in partnering with Elsevier customers. (Customer engagement).Supporting the sales and account management teams with developing and implementing strategies across key market segments. Supporting new business, renewals, and removing obstacles for closing sales. (Sales enablement).Presenting strategies, communicating on releases, and planning business cases in a thoughtful, interactive, and professional manner. Your audience includes senior leadership. (Stakeholder management).Requirements

Display Solid leadership experience in a strategic or commercial role in healthcare.Have In-depth understanding of the U.S. healthcare industry and experience in the clinician or physician workflow space.Have a proven track record in meeting forecasted new business targets and direct support of revenue growth for a portfolio of products.Experience in designing and executing successful commercial, business development or consulting activities.Display exceptional analytical capabilities related to market segmentation, commercial opportunity assessment, and competitor analysis.Have excellent communication skills and experience in comfortably operating and influencing at various organizational levels.Showcase project and time management skills. Coupled with an ability to set and maintain priorities with a sense of urgency in a multi-task environmentWork in a way that works for you
