The Business Development Representative will sustain the 'Sales Funnel' as a New Business Championand Customer Relationship Quarterback. Meet with and sell Engineered Solutions to perspective andcurrent customer base. This individual will understand our CoreCompetencies' when entering market space. The Business Development Representative should have acontinuous improvement mindset, have a deep curiosity for business and have strong active listenskills to provide solutions that are aligned with customer's needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities• New Business Champion:- Lead new business development efforts by executing on opportunities that feed our New ProductIntroduction in order to generate sources for additional revenue opportunities;- Perform sales activities on new accounts and negotiate pricing and discounts in consultationwith company President and finance team;- Forecast sales and pipeline information, including feeding the monthly forecasting needed forfinancial reporting as well as for the needs of capacity planning for departments such asoperations, warehouse, and human resources.• Customer Relationship Quarterback:- Connect like-minded professionals from our company to the customer and ensure that relationshipscontinuously run broadly through both organizations;- Work closely with Customer Service, Engineering Manager and Plant Managers to ensure that our company is providing Engineered Solutions to new/existing customers.• Sales Process/General Responsibilities:- Support team metrics and reporting to maintain high performance and identify process improvementopportunities;- Apply Continuous Improvement techniques to take process performance to the next level.Experience/Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business and/or;• 5-7 years of a progressive track record of success in customer-facing responsibilities;• Track record of Resilience and Drive to achieve goals;• Excellent active listening skills with a curiosity to uncover customer needs and create tangiblecustomer value;• Self-Starter with the ability to facilitate problem solving in a complex salessolution;• Familiarity with New Product Introduction processes;• Ability to collaborate with diverse cross-function teams including engineering, manufacturing,supply chain, customer service, and distribution to deliver results;• Willingness to travel domestically, 50% or more.
