FreshDirect At the Office is looking for a driven B2B Business Development Manager for all our coverage areas to include NY, NJ, and CT to acquire new customers and drive re-activating inactive customers using various strategic and follow up tactics. Our ideal candidate has a passion for building relationships and a practitioner of sales excellence.
High-Level Objectives
Reactivation of inactive customer accountsNew customer and partnership acquisitionEssential Functions

Prospect, pipeline build, acquire and maintain large new accountsReactivate high valued accounts that are currently inactiveIdentify high value targets based on industry, title, location etc.Follow-up on warm leads captured for registered, non-buying prospectsMaintain an ongoing sales mindset for all prospects to identify opportunity and drive end-to-end activities to seize wallet share growth.Engage in high volume inbound and outbound calls & emails and occasional office visits, to cold and warm lead prospects using optimal communication methods and talk points to always have eye on meeting and exceeding customer and personal objectives.Upsell, cross-sell & inspire utilization of key services and high-volume categories such as Fruit, Dairy, Snack, Beverage, Catering & Alcohol for office customers.Collaborate with cross-functional partners in analytics and marketing to identify key trends and opportunities to strategize for multi-channel marketing and sales approach to meet main objectives.Potential involvement in other special projects around other business development opportunitiesResponsible for tracking all call and email outreach efforts in Salesforce and most importantly meeting & exceeding account growth & reactivated customer sales targetsBe the voice of the prospect/customer to internal partners.Desired Characteristics & Qualifications
5+ years of successful Business-to-Business (B2B) track record in the New York metropolitan area.Proven success in driving prospect revenue growth & wallet share.Food / Office product sales experience is a plus.Self-motivated desire to driver towards successHistory of meeting and exceeding achievable sales targets, outbound call and outreach metrics.Strong verbal & written presentation, communication, follow-up & closing skills.Have an open mind to new ideas, optimization opportunities.Must be detail orientated with optimal organizational skills.Ability to cope in fast paced work environment.Proficient in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word.Who is FreshDirect:
