They will play a crucial role in protecting client innovations through preparing patent applications and responding to office actions from the USPTO and other patent offices.Duties:Interact extensively with clients, including universities, start-ups, and companies, to safeguard their innovations.Handle patent prosecution matters efficiently and effectively.Prepare and submit patent applications to the USPTO.Respond to office actions from the USPTO and other patent offices.Provide expertise in technologies related to synthetic chemistry and polymer chemistry.Conduct patent freedom to operate analyses.Assist with patent litigation matters as needed.Requirements:2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution.USPTO registration.Master's or PhD in organic chemistry.Ability to understand technologies related to synthetic chemistry and polymer chemistry.Experience with patent freedom to operate and patent litigation preferred.Strong academic records.Developed analytical skills.Exceptional communication abilities.Education and Certifications:Master's or PhD in organic chemistry.USPTO registration.Skills:Proficiency in patent prosecution.Knowledge of technologies related to synthetic chemistry and polymer chemistry.Ability to prepare patent applications for submission to the USPTO.Experience responding to office actions from the USPTO and other patent offices.Strong analytical skills.Impressive communication abilities.Detail-oriented approach.Confidence in assuming immediate responsibility for matters in an active practice.
