Wilson Elser's Seattle office seeks a Toxic Tort Of Counsel to defend a set of talc, silicosis, asbestos, and other toxic tort matters. This attorney would be a leader in implementing the client's defense strategies, mentoring and supervising associates and paralegals, reporting in writing and live to the client, and appearing at hearings and depositions, among other projects.

Qualifications
JD from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in the state of Washington8+ years of toxic tort litigation experienceAsbestos, talc, silicosis, diacetyl, benzene, or related toxic tort experience required2nd chair trial experience a plusSuperior analytical skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsLegal project management experience is helpful
Responsibilities
Take a leading role on a dynamic and growing litigation teamIndependently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to endWork closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projectsRegularly handle court appearances and depositionsCommunicate with clients and provide status reports

A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law. The expected salary range for this position is $180,000 to $235,000. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
