Director of Beach Club and Nightlife Operations
in Puerto Rico and the US is responsible for developing new VIP customer relationships, maintaining existing clients, and collaborating with a network of promoters and influencers. They create unique guest experiences, manage budgets, ensure legal compliance, and work closely with the Marketing team to drive revenue. Their role reports to the Director of Food and Beverage with a dotted line to the General Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Cultivating relationships with promoters, hosts, and influencers to boost revenue in line with the company standards.
Negotiating customer spend agreements and monitoring promoter performance.
Building the VIP Membership program and acquiring new accounts.
Entertaining clients, participating in local networking, and promoting venues.
Conducting venue tours, representing the hotel, and researching industry competitors.
Ensuring the quality of music and entertainment aligns with the hotel's branding.
Collaborating with day and nightlife operations to maintain service standards.
Implementing revenue management strategies and participating in revenue forecasting.
Operating independently, managing time effectively, and fostering positive working relationships.
Handling multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with hotel operations and software.
Requirements:
Clear communication and problem-solving skills.
Deadline-oriented and capable of multitasking.
Effective at handling workplace issues and analyzing complex data.
Proficiency in financial information and data.
Ability to work under pressure and handle long hours.
Education & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or equivalent.
Experience:
5 to 10 years of nightlife promotions experience, including hotel operations.
