Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to develop firmware, design circuit boards, and debug products from concept to production.
Core Responsibilities:Utilize Altium and Concord Pro to design rapid-turn circuit boardsDevelop firmware utilizing C for PIC microcontrollers, with possibilities for ARM-based and FPGA developmentConduct evaluations of peers' circuits and code, offering productive technical insightsRecognize technical challenges, suggest remedies, and oversee necessary actions to effectively address these issuesFormulate test plans for hardware assessment during prototype deployment, with potential involvement in transitioning prototypes to manufacturing
Minimum Requirements:B.S. in Electrical Engineering12+ years of experience designing analog / digital circuit design and firmware development for low power sensorsExperience with C programming for microcontrollersExperience with AltiumExperience with system design and architecture
Ideal Candidate:M.S. in Electrical EngineeringTesting experience with MIL-STDExperience working in a machine shop or electromechanical skillsDFM experienceExperience with ARM and PICExperience with environmental sensors (in-situ sensing)Understanding of Physics
