Addiction Clinical Director

to join the team near Gloversville, NY! The Addictions Clinic Director is responsible for overseeing and developing the assigned clinic programs including hiring, supervision, evaluation and scheduling. Also developing, planning and implementing strategies for program continuation and growth.

Position : Clinical Director - Addiction ProgramLocation : near Gloversville, NYSchedule : M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2)

ResponsibilitiesDevise trauma-informed strategies and plans for the clinic according to Agency standards for superior client care and Agency growth.Plan and oversee all client care or administrative operations and programs.Work collaboratively with Human Resources to recruit staff ensuring the Agency is equipped with qualified personnel.Monitor licensure/certification requirements; supervise clinical practice.Hold staff accountable for performance measures including, but not limited to, productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with OASAS, Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities, etc.Promote the positive and stable health of clients through a program of individualized care from initial diagnosis through treatment and follow-up services.Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback.Provide staff with training and opportunities for continuous development, including direct supervision and facilitating clinical meetings.

Required Education And ExperienceMaster's degree in a related Healthcare Field.Registered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist preferred or CASAC- Advanced Counselor and CASAC- Master Counselor.Three years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/ health improvement in a managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.At least two years' experience in dual diagnosis treatment or substance use disorder.Demonstrate expertise in a wide range of clinical interventions with varied populations and must demonstrate capability in the integration of clinical work with the requirements of the New York State Office of Mental Health and OASAS.Must have knowledge of the human service provider's structure and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with other professionals.Extensive knowledge of ethics, confidentiality and child welfare is required.Willingness to learn and follow clinic's standards of practice.Ability to successfully pass the Medicaid exclusion screening and background check.Demonstrable ability to connect with and provide trauma-informed care and support to a diverse client population.
