About the Role:The Field Marketing Director, Strategic Accounts is in charge of leading our marketing efforts for global and major accounts. As a successful hire, you will be an integral part of the Marketing and Sales teams, planning and coordinating marketing efforts for our most strategic accounts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company’s solutions. You will also be working closely with our sales leadership to develop strategies that will help us maximize profits and market share.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent strategic planning skills. He/she is also expected to execute marketing initiatives flawlessly and must demonstrate instances where he/she has a proven ability to successfully grow a business. Naturally, the candidate needs to have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders within CrowdStrike.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the development of strategic, account based marketing plans to build pipeline and drive revenue goals in our Majors account segment

Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally

Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy, creating and executing tailored programs including bespoke in-person/virtual seminars, industry events, meeting maker programs, thought leadership, executive conferences & roundtables

Partner cross-functionally to deliver comprehensive portfolio of account specific marketing programs across campaigns, digital and events to help meet and exceed targets

Collaborate effectively with regional enterprise field marketing managers to ensure cohesive and jointly leveraged efforts

Track lead flow from campaign response through to pipeline generation, and collaborate with Sales Development to improve conversion metrics and beat goals

Identify new business opportunities and continually review changes to the market, customer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary

Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively

Manage and measure marketing campaign costs, reporting on the effectiveness using pre-determined KPIs

Utilize data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organization’s databases and external data

Cooperate with our global team to provide Americas input for market research studies

Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials

What You’ll Need:

15+ years combined marketing experience including field, digital, and campaign marketing

Must have demonstrable regional marketing experience supporting field sales organizations and channel partners

Must have proven experience in growing a business by translating sales goals into credible marketing plans

Must possess skills in database marketing and growing a prospect database

Must be able to demonstrate an understanding in the different cultural dynamics across the North America region

Skills in digital marketing and related forms of online engagement including progressive profiling and lead nurturing

Must possess budget management and forecasting skills

Excellent collaboration skills in working cross-functionally with sales organization, corporate marketing, peers and channel teams. We are looking for a great communicator with good presentation skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills: lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule

Experience in attending sales calls and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for the regions supported

Must demonstrate experience in managing and negotiating vendor contracts

Experience in tracking and measuring marketing events, programs and metrics

Bonus Points:

Experience in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry

An interest and understanding of Formula One hospitality is advantageous

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $150,000 – $240,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
