Are you a good fit for this Psychiatrist - Child and Adolescent job?To excel in the role of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates must possess a Medical degree with board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Additionally, relevant experience in clinical or hospital practice working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is essential. Applicants must hold a valid license as a Psychiatrist in the Commonwealth of Virginia, along with Virginia Controlled Substance Registration and DEA Registration. Proficiency in utilizing various software and tools related to psychiatric practice is advantageous. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong communication abilities, keen analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care and ethical conduct are critical attributes for this role.

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Medical degree with board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and some experience in clinical/hospital practice serving the mentally ill.

Licensed as a Psychiatrist in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Virginia Controlled Substance Registration and DEA Registration.
