The opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate FP&A is a key member of Nature's Touch FP&A team that will support corporate planning and analytics projects. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager of Corporate FP&A and will be involved in a wide variety of activities to help build out the infrastructure and capabilities of the FP&A team. This is an ideal position for those who like to roll up their sleeves to build tools and processes from the ground up.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining standard reporting utilizing BI tools, building out flexible BI capabilities to support efficient financial analysis, performing ongoing gross profit analyses, and building and maintaining tools to support efficient corporate planning.

The role

Leads the development and maintenance of standard financial and management reporting utilizing BI tools. The reporting scope will include elements of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow with a focus on key metrics driving business performance. Must possess the ability to present information that is both meaningful and accessible to stakeholders with varying levels of financial expertise.

Owns analysis of customer and SKU level gross profit, partnering with the pricing team to ensure margin performance meets expectations. Analyses will include identifying drivers of variance due to changes in rate, volume, and mix relative to comparable targets, e.g. budget and forecast. Performs reconciliation to consolidated P&L.

Leads the development and maintenance of BI tools to be utilized by the broader finance team for conducting efficient, flexible, and informative financial analysis.

Supports projects to build and maintain tools to facilitate corporate planning and forecasting, including aiding in the selection, deployment, and maintenance of new CPM tools.

Partner with various key stakeholders, including members of the senior leadership team, to provide bespoke reporting and financial analysis needs, including cost/benefit analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling.

Partner with Sr. Manager of FP&A on various corporate planning & reporting activities and deliverables.

Ad-hoc requests/analyses, as needed.

What you will bring

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field, MBA or CPA is a plus.

5+ years of experience in finance or analytical role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Understanding of standard costs in a manufacturing environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Experience utilizing Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI to build and maintain reports and dashboards.

Familiarity with ETL and efficient data modeling techniques.

Familiarity with SQL.
