Fairmont Logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to lead our sales team in Charleston, SC. This person will have the opportunity to be a cornerstone piece of a new office, with strategy and hiring influence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to achieve company targets and expand our customer base. The responsibilities will include some P&L ownership of the office, sales team management, and growing a customer base. This person should be a self-starter, highly motivated, positive culture-driver, and embrace the opportunity to eventually move into the General Manager role. Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targetsDevelop and implement effective sales strategiesProspect customers and lead a growing book of businessManage key customer accounts and maintain strong relationshipsAnalyze sales data and trends to provide insights for decision-makingAssist in the hiring of a growing sales teamMaintain a positive work environmentPresent data and reporting to the Vice President of SalesUtilize CRM tools to track sales activitiesNegotiate contracts and close deals with clientsStay updated on industry trends and competitor activitiesImplement operational best practices in logistics, and coach accurate order-entry etc.Qualifications

Proven experience in a sales leadership roleProven sales in logistics industry and growing a book of businessStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamExcellent customer service and communication skillsProficiency in sales techniques, account management, and 3PL salesAbility to analyze data and logistics industry trendsDemonstrated success in managing a high-performing sales teamA driven, positive personalityCulture-driverBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or a related field.3+ years in logistics sales capacityThis position will report to the Vice President. The Charleston, SC will be a new office for the organization, and will give the benefit of having excellent growth opportunity.
